The location was the one good part of our stay. Our room had been assigned to two groups, and around 10 pm some drunk guys came into it. Then the shower went wrong: when we turned on the hot water, it burst, and the room flooded before maintenance could shut it off.

For a hotel that's almost brand new, the service was disappointing, and the price feels high for what you get. The TV kept cutting out, and there isn't a phone in the room, which was annoying. Check the towels when you arrive, because they count them at checkout and charge for any missing ones. They charged me for one even though I hadn't taken a towel, and they wouldn't listen.

The rooms are really nice, and the hotel itself is very good. The location, though, isn't the best.

A modern, comfortable spot to relax. I think anyone visiting chignahuapan should go there.
