Everyone was friendly, but I wouldn't come back. The sheets were dirty and, from what we saw, weren't changed in our room or the others. We ended up buying our own sheets and pillow covers. The rooms are small, though they were fine for why we visited. Breakfast isn't free for everyone, so ask when you book. The buffet costs 179 pesos, about $10, for a tiny selection that wasn't very good. Food overall was about one star, and drinks and snacks are overpriced too. Laundry cost us 800 pesos, around $45, for 3 pants, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of socks and 2 undershirts, including a 16% charge on top. We checked nearby hotels and found some a bit cheaper with breakfast included. Things around here are expensive.

A mini fridge would have been handy for our leftovers. Otherwise it was very clean, cool and comfortable, and the location made it easy to explore town on foot.

The bed was firm but comfortable, the oversized pillows were great, and being able to adjust the room temperature helped. At $42 with tax, the price was cheap, and my stay was acceptable overall. Still, I wouldn't suggest staying longer than a night, especially with kids or if you're not traveling alone. There's no room service. The room was so tiny there was barely space to walk between the queen bed and wall-mounted TV. It was clean enough, but the bathroom wasn't: towels were on the floor, and there were stains on the toilet seat and sink. The water temperature was normal, though the shower soon filled up as if the drain were partly clogged. Breakfast was $5 per person, but the bland selection made it clear why it cost so little. Parking around the hotel is cramped, with public parking about 100 yards away. The elevator doors closed aggressively on my elbow. I'd asked for a single room and was surprised by how little space it had.

Dominique, who runs the breakfast buffet, was warm, attentive, and happy to help with everything we needed. She's why I'm giving this place three stars. Without her, it would've been one. I liked the lobby and the sustainability certification, but the customer service elsewhere was awful. The rooms felt too small for two people, and the shower pressure was too weak to wake me up. ~Thoughts become things; choose the good ones! #elpostdelatia
