While I was out for a few hours, a staff member came into my room and turned off the air conditioning. It was hot when I got back. He kept pretending to try to fix it, then suddenly they could turn it back on after about 30 minutes of laughing at me. I hadn't touched the AC setting for at least a week. I have a broken ankle and am recovering, and I can't take a shower, so now I'll stink for the next three weeks. I hadn't been sweating before. There's no excuse for what happened, and it's obvious they went through my belongings too. I'm a very low-key person and had tipped generously. The male staff here have been surly at best. Maybe it's because I'm meek in person, and I suppose being incapacitated makes me look like someone who's easy to push around. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

We walked over to the main square from here during Mexican Independence Day, and Chihuahua felt like a very attractive, safe city for tourists. The hotel is tucked on a side street and took a little effort to find, but it’s conveniently located, not far from the cathedral, pedestrian mall, or main square. My tour guide driver had recommended it. It’s a nice little place at an economical price, with a firm bed and a strong shower. I’d recommend it.

I left in tears and felt completely devastated after the taxi driver who strongly recommended this place dropped us off. I asked reception right away if we could get a refund. She said she’d already paid the taxi driver a comisión, but could arrange a taxi for us to get whatever was left. When we came back downstairs, she refused to refund us. I was very disappointed with both the location and the service. This felt like a taxi scam. If I could give negative stars, I would. Don’t fall for it.

The breakfast was good, and the woman at the restaurant was really nice. The room was okay, but the front desk service was not good at all.
8/10
I found the place comfortable and nice, and breakfast was good. The TV channel selection could use an improvement, though.
