The staff were friendly and helpful, and parking was easy. Our basic three-bed room was clean and had what we needed. The pool is large and clean, though the ladder is at the deep end and its first step is quite high, which made it a little hard to use. We heard music from the bar across the street until 3 am on both nights, but earplugs helped. There are convenient places to eat and shop nearby. The central plaza is a long walk, so a car is best. Recommended 😃

We couldn't sleep much at all. The hotel is across from two or three bars and clubs, and the music and people shouting went on until they closed at 3 am. After that, people continued partying in the room below ours, so things only got quiet around 4 am. The room had no AC, which was a problem in the heat, and it wasn't nice to begin with. The booking was also a mess. I called to check availability and reserved by phone, then got a confirmation text. When I arrived a couple of hours later, they said they'd given the last two-bedroom room to someone else and couldn't find my reservation. The front desk woman refreshed the booking site, and my name and reservation appeared. They put three of us in a one-bedroom room with a king bed. At first they wanted to charge 200 more, but after I asked them to account for the hotel's mistake, they agreed to the original price. I had been looking for a hotel near the plaza in Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, and couldn't find another nearby place with vacancy. Even so, I wasn't happy with this stay and wouldn't recommend it.

The lot entrance is narrow and sits close to an intersection on a main road, which we didn't like. The rooms were well kept, the bathrooms had updated water fixtures, and the pool was maintained. There was plenty of security and privacy. We enjoyed our stay and would consider it for a future visit. One heads-up: the nearby family restaurants were closed by 3 pm, so there may not be much around if you're starving. That's not the hotel's fault.

It's dated in places, but clean and in a central spot, about two minutes from downtown Cd Guzmán. The rooms are decent and comfortable, the staff are courteous, and the rates are hard to beat. Restaurants, OXXO convenience stores, and IMSS hospital are all very close.
