The reception was the worst part, with barriers around reservations. Given the room and service quality, the stay is expensive, even if the hotel is close to the US Consulate. If you're traveling from abroad for family matters or paperwork to enter the United States, there are plenty of other hotels in the area with better service quality. To play it safe, frequent travelers should check whether their hotel franchise operates in Ciudad Juárez and book there. Otherwise, consider an Airbnb or staying with family or friends.
