The happy hour is a real plus, with alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, and snacks. I travel around Mexico, and they always welcome me like family here. It also feels very safe, which matters in Tamaulipas right now. A place I’d gladly stay at again.

The location is great, but after staying in three different rooms, I’d say they all need repairs and some renovation. This time there was a cockroach in our room. They list an airport shuttle, but usually they can’t say whether they’ll actually provide it, and most of the time it seems they don’t.

The place was cleaner and more comfortable than I expected, and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was the one frustrating part: it was so disorganized that getting food took us over 45 minutes. The shower didn’t get very hot, though it was warmer than the last one I had in Mexico, and the water pressure was great. We still had a great time.
