The place is old and run down, but it ended up far exceeding our very low expectations. For the money, we were super happy. It’s basic and inexpensive, and we liked the bed’s size and comfort and the linens. The free breakfast was filling and adequate, and the pool was a delightful bonus.

The beds were hard, and we didn’t try the showers. The place smelled really bad, both in the rooms and outside, possibly from air pollution caused by local industry. It was a terrible place to stay, though maybe one of the few available early.

We were in Coatzacoalcos because we had to stop there on the ADO bus and wanted somewhere to sleep near the station. It took just a couple of minutes and 40-60 pesos to get there. The employees were really nice and let us in before check-in time. The room was very clean and had good Wi-Fi, and there’s a little pool where you can chill. The food wasn’t the greatest, but we enjoyed it anyway.

This feels more like a motel than a hotel, and it does a lot of business with industrial companies. It’s out of touch and needs renovating. The keys don’t work, and it’s humid.
