We stayed two nights in a room with two king-size beds and one bathroom. It was very quiet, and I slept like a rock, waking up to lovely birdsong. The bed was comfortable, though they only used two regular flat sheets and a blanket instead of proper bedsheets. The window had no curtain. The bathroom clogged when we used it, but the manager came to clear it. Towels, soap, and toilet tissue were supplied, though it's better to bring your own. There were two little bathroom bins without liners. Housekeeping cleans the room if you stay more than one day. The room had lots of tiny ants, and there were some around the hotel too. The hotel is tucked away off a main road, about a 3-5 minute drive from the Oaxtepec bus terminal in Morelos, Mexico. The photo below shows the dirt road taxis take to get there, along with the hotel's outer front area. There's another hotel with cabanas just before it. A beautiful river runs beside this hotel, with farmland and small houses opposite. It looks like the owner could spend more on amenities, which would improve the rating. There are no vending machines, but a fridge sells cold sodas. The restaurant food was okay. My reservation included two breakfasts; the host explains what's covered, and you can order other menu items if available for an extra charge. The front desk staff were very friendly. The main gates are padlocked for security. There are two pools, one small and one large, though I didn't use either. The TV has local channels only, with no cable or Sky service, but there's free Wi-Fi. The front desk provides a remote control. You have to leave a small deposit when paying. We paid in pesos, though they also accept credit cards.
