Hotel Villafuerte

Just an average hotel.

It was okay for a night's sleep. The hotel is small, and the bathroom in my room was upstairs, with a wooden shutter facing the hallway. I really can't handle the cold, so that setup was awful for me. I had to cover it with a cloth so people couldn't see in.

The bathroom was damp and moldy, the toilet had no seat, the towels were torn, and the beds were in awful shape. Even the analog TV didn't work. They also refused to honor our reservation at the price we'd agreed on. I'm usually a Booking.com user who books decent places, but we picked this "hotel" because of the kind of trip we were on and our circumstances. It really should be inspected. Recommending somewhere like this puts your reputation in question. The receptionist, "Cecy," was rude and inflexible, with no customer service skills. All she would say was, "The owner doesn't want me to do this or that..." I know it's a cheap hotel, but she sleeps on a blanket on the floor in the reception area. What kind of conditions are the employees being kept in? Don't stay here...

The hot water comes quickly, and the TV has enough channels to keep movie, series, sports, cartoon, and music video fans happy. Very comfortable.
