For a night or two while exploring CC on your own, this is a great place to stay. It’s close to Centro and the Chepe station, and several tour companies are within a block, making it easy to arrange visits to the main Copper Canyon sights. The hotel is a bit rustic but very clean and comfortable. The beds were decent, there was plenty of hot water, and breakfast in the morning was very good. Staff and service were great, and the place was well run.

Our stay became pleasant once we switched rooms. The owner kindly moved us to a room with a gas furnace after my mother-in-law started having trouble breathing. The issue was the wood-burning stove in the cabin, which needs better ventilation. After two days there, she was struggling to breathe.

The location was excellent, just a few steps from downtown, and they helped us arrange tours. For a really cheap price, the rooms can fit up to four people and had more than I expected: beds, a big flat-screen TV, a small fridge, a dining table, a kitchen and sink, and a heater. There was warm water and Wi-Fi too. It’s a great place to stay.

The rooms are fairly new and clean, with a nice TV. Internet access is limited and the Wi-Fi is weak, though it is a small town. The staff were very friendly and punctual. We booked our tours through them and had the best guides, Juan and Carlos. Those guys really know the places.
