Madison Suites

The people are friendly, the service is great, and the rooms are clean. Best place to stay in Cuauhtemoc.

I’m a travel agent, and we were charged twice because of a bank error. They’ve given us the runaround and still haven’t returned the money. They keep saying it isn’t their fault and promising a refund every Thursday, but nothing happens. The only person who answers is rude and dismissive. I really don’t recommend this hotel. What awful service and a terrible reputation. I’ve filed a complaint with Profeco, the Mexican consumer protection agency, and hope the owner sees how badly the staff are treating people. They even blocked me on their Facebook page. If you can avoid staying here, please do.

The management responded to our requests, bringing an extra blanket and plenty of towels. We were four people, and the place was just as it looked in the photos, with new equipment, very clean and spacious. It’s close to shops and restaurants, yet the area was very quiet at night. I stayed on the ground floor. The two-bedroom suites are upstairs, and there’s no elevator. I’d definitely stay here again.

The CHEPE bus station is no more than five minutes away, with places to eat and have fun just a few steps from the hotel. The staff are welcoming and very friendly to tourists. When problems come up, they’re handled promptly and cheerfully. I stayed here almost three years ago, and it’ll still be my first choice when I return to Cuauhtémoc. The suites are spacious and well equipped, with everything you need to cook. Excellent place to stay, highly recommended!
