I had a room by the river and could hear the water flowing. The hotel has a lovely open area with lots of plants and trees, plus a pool. The woman at reception was friendly and smiled.

The location is very central, though getting there means walking down a busy, dark road. We booked through a discounter and got a room near very loud traffic. When we asked about local dining, they didn’t mention the really charming place next door.
