The food was a real highlight, seasonal, organic, local, and full of soul. Every dish felt nourishing for both body and spirit. The staff were so attentive, too. At Misión Del Sol, you step inside and the outside noise fades away. The gardens, quiet meditation areas, spa, and pool all make it easy to slow down and reconnect. There’s no TV or air conditioning, but honestly, I didn’t miss them. The breeze, birds, trees, and peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unplug and properly rest. If you want a reset, this feels like a sanctuary, more than a hotel.

The free activities were incredible. We tried gong sound healing and yoga, and holy moly, it was amazing! I also had a very relaxing 50-minute full body massage. The rooms are really nice, the food is delicious, and the staff are super friendly. I absolutely loved this hidden gem. Highly recommend if you want somewhere peaceful to relax.

The peaceful, beautiful setting made this a great place to stay, and the clean rooms had very comfortable beds. My wife’s colleagues arranged a work retreat here, and I joined for the last 3 days. Service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. Our group especially loved the tamarind mezcalita, perfectly balanced and so, so good! It was also a great base for visiting Cuernavaca and Tepoztlán. I only wish I’d had time to try the spa offerings. I’d recommend this place 1000%.

The gardens and open spaces are lovely and well kept, and the buildings look nice from the outside. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and the meals are good enough that there’s no need to leave the resort to find food. Service and attention are really good. It’s a pleasant spot for a quiet, relaxing weekend, and the large rooms also work well for business meetings, integration, and networking. The rooms and furniture could use some maintenance, while keeping their nice style. There’s parking and valet service. The resort is in Jiutepec, Morelos, where the surrounding area isn’t that nice, but inside the property you can still have a good experience.
