I've stayed here and recommended it for years. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is always incredibly delicious. It's a real gem, with the best view of Cuetzalan town.

It's a clean hotel, though about a mile from the town center. That distance is great if you're planning to hike and get in shape. Make sure the manager turns on the water heater, or you may end up with a cold shower. When I stayed, the rates were $650 MXN peso for one person and $850 for two. I paid 30 percent more by booking online, so call to reserve instead. Still, enjoy the experience.

They served us a delicious breakfast, and the view over town is truly stunning. The staff and management were excellent, and the simple rooms were comfortable and very clean. It's a quiet spot with beautiful scenery, but a bit far from the center, and the roads are steep. Walking is fine if you enjoy it, though it may be tiring with small children or older people.

I got a picture-perfect sunrise and a spectacular view of the church with the little jars. The location is excellent, the service is great, and the rooms are clean. It's a short walk to the town center to admire the church. Definitely recommend it. 😍🥰
