Beachfront 3 Bedroom Hacienda del Cuyo

We’d love to return. Our family rented both apartments for two weeks and had an excellent stay. There was plenty of space on the first floor to eat together, both inside and on the nice patio. Waking up with the sand right outside the door and lots of beach chairs for the ocean was great. Yara amd Magaly were super friendly and very helpful.

Loved the Mexican Hacienda feel, right on the beach. It’s one of the beachfront places to rent in El Cuyo, and Yara and Magally took great care of us. They were always available when we needed something. Couldn’t ask for more. Thanks again, we’ll be back.

We didn’t stay because the whole house and grounds were filthy. Trash was all over, with empty water bottles scattered around that clearly hadn’t just been left there a few days. The penthouse was neglected too: the sun lounger was broken and dirty, the bathroom toothbrush holder was moldy, and the fridge wasn’t properly clean. The host refunded one of our three nights “as a gesture of goodwill,” saying we hadn’t canceled immediately. At first, though, he was unreachable. Looking back, I’d advise against canceling right away, because Airbnb then can’t issue a full refund. I later discussed it with Airbnb, and based on our photos they would have been entitled to give us a full refund. Airbnb’s service was excellent, and they refunded an additional €50. The host showed no understanding or regret about what happened. That same evening we found somewhere much nicer and significantly cheaper in El Cuyo. We absolutely can’t recommend this house. Afterward, the owner left us an Airbnb review and again demonstrably made false claims about us and our decision.

This is a beautiful holiday home right on the beach, and we’ve already stayed twice. I went with my family, and we can highly recommend it. It’s perfectly placed for relaxing, with palm trees and white sand stretching as far as you can see.
