Casa Playa Hermosa

Our Playa Hermosa stay made for a wonderful mini vacation and birthday celebration. I loved the cozy balcony overlooking the ocean, and the beds were very comfortable. We had safe parking, a beautiful view, and could walk to the beach and some restaurants. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was delicious, especially my favorite blueberry pancakes! We also enjoyed the pool and game room, then stayed up late on the big balcony. Derek knows the area and has good suggestions for places to visit. There’s so much to do in Ensenada that two days isn’t enough, so we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

The beach is spectacular from the balconies, and it’s easy to get down there for a long walk or to watch things like horseback riding. I spent two weeks here and had a great stay. Derek and Ana are friendly hosts who can point you to places and restaurants to visit. Derek makes amazing breakfasts with delicious coffee, egg dishes, bacon, and scrumptious blueberry pancakes. The rooms are fantastic, with huge beds you have to climb into, and I felt fresh and ready to go each morning. On a day off from touring, you can lounge by the pool and tan in the hot sun while enjoying the cool breezes. Playa Hermosa Bed and Breakfst is definitely somewhere I intend to visit again. The location and comfort were both great. It’s right by the best beach in town and surrounded by great restaurants. The room had new beds and pillows that we sank right into. We loved sitting on the huge deck by the cozy fireplace with a glass of wine, watching the waves and cruise ships go by. It took all our troubles away. Thank you, Derek and Shari, you’re great hosts. We’ll be back!

We loved the recreation area, where we listened to music and played pool and darts each night. Derek and his wife were amazing hosts, and each day we were spoiled with his signature blueberry pancakes, French toast, and breakfast burritos. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had views of both the ocean and swimming pool. I loved this B & B. Thank you. Johnnie & David and family.
