Hotel H Americas

The staff were friendly and personable, and the place was very clean. It's well located.

There's no sign identifying the hotel, and at night nobody is at reception. The gate stays open, so people can come and go freely, with no security. The room photos don't reflect how things look now, they're from when the rooms were new. My room smelled bad, and there was mold on the bathroom and shower curtain. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

The bathroom was badly neglected, with limescale all over the shower, just one roll of toilet paper, and towels that didn't look very clean. There was only a fan, no air conditioning, and the beds were passable. The rooms feel run-down, more like somewhere you end up as a last resort, which was my situation, than a place you'd choose to stay. Its one saving grace is the central spot near a major avenue, so maybe it works in an emergency.

Reception was really friendly, and there's Wi-Fi on every floor. The single room is compact, but the size works for one person.
