The location is decent, but there's not much for tourists nearby, so we had to take an Uber, Didi, or taxi to most landmarks. The rooms are OK, though dated for a four-star hotel. I used to work in the hotel business, and I'd call this three stars at best. The bathrooms could use a deep clean, and the service was hit or miss: plenty of good people, but only a few seemed willing to help. I do appreciate the woman who cleaned our room and brought water, the kind overnight front desk guy, and the man out front who often helped load our things into an Uber. The rest of the staff seemed too busy to attend to guests' needs. We also had repeated problems with the room. We had to set the air to about 5-12c just to keep it comfortable, and the bathroom and walk-in area felt like a freezer. Neither mini fridge worked, even after they brought a replacement, so nothing stayed cold. The staff were quick to fix things, and the overnight guy was especially helpful. He gave me hot water for my son's bottles and offered to store our things in the kitchen fridge. That was a plus. The sound insulation was not a big issue, but the room wasn't completely soundproof. Breakfast was uneven during our stay. The buffet ends at 12, but when we went down around 945am one day, there wasn't a selection. On three of the four nights I stayed, the selection was limited because food ran out or no one mentioned the cook would make eggs to order. He also made waffles and pancakes when those ran out, but that wasn't advertised. You need to go early for a good selection. I felt rushed when they kept asking us to sign the slip for our free breakfast while we were still eating. Maybe it was an off day. If they can't keep the buffet stocked, they should consider changing its hours.
