Hotel Hacienda Real

We had hot water and a warm blanket, and the gentleman who welcomed us was friendly. The place is affordable, spacious, and practical for a family like mine, with a convenient spot right off the highway. It works for an overnight stay. We were missing towels in the bathroom.

You can park right outside your room, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are also very spacious, but the hotel badly needs a remodel. The walls, doors, and ceilings all need refinishing, and the floors need polishing. Even after they’d been swept, they still looked dirty. I hope they take care of the place instead of letting it fall into disrepair. A full remodel would make a big difference. I’d only recommend staying here if you need somewhere for the night in an emergency. There’s no Wi-Fi, and I hope they add it.

The TV was faulty, and there were gaps in the bathroom door that let you see into the room. The curtains wouldn't close properly, though we managed to fix them a bit. At checkout, a cleaning staff member gave us a hard time as we walked by and came across as arrogant. Maybe he was in a bad mood or had been reprimanded, but he wasn't friendly. That's why I'm giving it three stars.

The beds were clean, which I liked. But rainwater was getting inside from somewhere, and the apartment was already so wet when we arrived that we were afraid to walk around. I hope they look into it. 😉👍
