We checked out the same day we arrived and went to a more comfortable hotel in the historic center. I was willing to lose the money I’d paid upfront. This place is far away, uncomfortable, and expensive for what it offers. It’s basically a rented room in a house, maybe less, and there isn’t even a closet for clothes. Honestly, I don’t understand why it gets such good reviews.

Mrs. Carmelita made us feel at home with how warmly she treated us. The place itself is cozy and peaceful, and the area is quiet and lovely. The location is fantastic, with everything nearby. I hope I can come back this year to enjoy this lovely city and the beautiful place called Carmelita's Home.
