The owner was super friendly and helpful, answering every question quickly. The room was cozy, spacious, clean, and quiet, with all the main sites within a five-minute walk. I almost booked near union garden, but luckily didn't. Don't be put off by Google Maps, it's a small town. You get convenience and peace without street noise. I'd highly recommend staying here.

I've stayed here a few times in different rooms, and the location is hard to beat for walking around guanajuato. You're right in the middle of town, close to all the sites and halfway to anywhere you want to go. The owner responds quickly, and the other staff are super helpful and sweet. Rooms are clean, roomy, and comfortable, and the beds are very comfortable too. Wifi is good. I'll definitely be back.

The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bed is comfortable as well. They leave water for you each day. There's no AC, but the room stays cool with a fan, and it's good value for money. The location is central, a 2-3 minute walk from the main plaza. Small shops nearby sell things like fruit, water, and snacks, and OXXO is also 2-3 minutes away. No real comments on the property. Maybe the check-in process could be explained more clearly, but it wasn't an issue.

I've never had a more friendly stay than the one I had at Las Alamedas. Javier, the owner, genuinely cares about your time in Guanajuato as much as the accommodations at his hotel. The few quaint rooms are more like small apartments, just outside the noisy downtown area. Restaurants and shops are only a short two-minute walk away, and there's a lot within walking distance. I'd highly recommend the place and look forward to coming back.
