The room works well, and the location is great for me. I know the breakfast is good, but twice now, it wasn’t ready when I arrived around 6-7, even though they say it starts at 6. It makes me think this happens every day, so I hope they improve it.

There was a strong, invasive chemical smell everywhere, maybe naphthalene or something else. I paid almost 200 bucks, which was ridiculous, and I won’t come back. The air conditioning didn’t work in most rooms. They moved me three times, but I still ended up sleeping without it. The rooms were hot, so I didn’t sleep well. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!

It’s clean, quiet, and has very nice staff. It worked well for a business trip. Breakfast is the big issue: it was about 15 minutes late, not just a few minutes, and they’d run out of coffee. If management could get the schedule sorted out, this would be a 5 star hotel. Great place otherwise.

I didn’t stay here, but I trust City Express because its hotels across Mexico are usually a safe bet for a clean, decent place. Think of it as the McDonald’s of hotels. The rooms are small, but enough if you’re just sleeping there. There are convenience stores and a subway sandwich restaurant nearby. Don’t expect too much, it is what it is.
