Check-in can be done online ahead of time, and the port is just a 3-minute walk away. The city center is 5 minutes away, with a small supermarket only 10 meters from the hotel. Rooms are lovely and come with towels, AC, and fans. There’s daily AC maintenance, fresh towels, and room service. The view is beautiful, though the surroundings feel a bit shady. The main drawbacks were very poor Wi-Fi, especially on the second floor, and the noise. You can hear everything through the wooden beams.

The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the ferry, and I’d happily stay here again. It’s about 10 minutes on foot to the main beach area. Luiz is very attentive, and although he isn’t there all the time, he’s available by phone and answers right away if you text. The staff are great, and the sheets and towels smell heavenly. The place is very clean. There’s no sound insulation, so you can sometimes hear outside noise. That’s true of every hotel in the island center. If you want it super quiet, you’ll need to stay away from the center. There was loud music outside, but I had no trouble sleeping. Turning on white noise on my phone, or bringing a white noise machine, helps a lot. I slept like a baby with it close to my pillow.

Don’t book here. I couldn’t get anyone to respond for over two weeks. Good luck trying to communicate with them. This place is a total scam.

Luis was amazing, and the room was clean, with good AC and a nice view. There was a plumbing problem in the bathroom, but otherwise it’s a very good option at a reasonable price.
