The room noise was bad, and the hotel is far from the rest of the island. The stay itself was alright for one night, but the front desk staff were rude about a situation that forced me to stay there. They came into my room without permission, removed my belongings without telling me, and lost my ferry ticket. When I asked about it, the staff member said the booking was only for one night, although we had agreed verbally on two and I had that in writing. He then said I must have forgotten because I was drunk, which wasn't true and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I'd strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

The WiFi was bad, especially in the rooms, but the harbor is very close. Cute hotel and a nice owner.

It was clean and handy for the ferry, since it's right nearby if you're leaving the next morning. The room felt cold, with a very small window, and there was no deadbolt on the door. It's on the less populated side of the island, where streets can be dark and empty at night. I wouldn't choose it for a solo trip or stay longer than a night.

Breakfast was a joke, just coffee and toast at a hotel a ten minute walk away. The harbor was very loud, and work noises went on all night. Worst hotel of my holiday. Stay away.

The reception staff were helpful and nice, and the atmosphere was good. The room was pleasant and there was a nice pool and lots of vegetation, but the place felt old and a little messy. What bothered me most was the damp smell in the room and the ferry noise, including announcements from the first ferry. I expected a bit more from a four star place. I might not stay here again, though I'd definitely want to return to Holbox, it's paradise!
