Hotel Casa Lupita

I stayed on the third floor and had a lovely time. The location is very central and convenient, and the room was clean with quiet AC. Reception was friendly, and there’s a cute movie-themed hamburger restaurant downstairs. There was no WiFi, as other reviews have mentioned, but for the price it was still a good deal. I’d definitely return.

We were right in the city centre, close to the beach and surrounded by lots of restaurant options in the evening. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, with a nice chilled atmosphere and a Mediterranean feel. They were clean too, except that the ground-floor rooms were humid and left our clothes smelling stale. I’d ask for an upstairs room. The woman let us pay in both dollars and pesos, and exchanged my friend’s dollars at a favourable rate. The shower heads are made of sea shells :) It’s easy to get drunk here :)

The property is well maintained, the rooms are very nice, and check-in was easy. The advertised WiFi barely works, though. If you’re not on the first floor, you won’t get it on the second, and reception is hardly ever staffed.

We loved how the rooms are tucked away. The hotel is cute and neat, in a perfect location right in the middle of everything, yet our room wasn’t too loud.
