Hotel Belmar by Roland's

The room smelled like a dirty washroom, and there was no soap for washing hands. The air conditioning was good, and it was handy to leave luggage before check-in and after checkout. There’s a laundry nearby for 15 $. The pizza at the restaurants was good 👍

The room was dirty, the bedding was stained and unclean, and there were no towels or bottled water. It smelled of mold. I’d booked it for my adult son’s graduation trip, but ended up paying for two rooms and finding him somewhere else to stay. Don’t stay here.

The location was the only good thing about this hotel. It’s old and dirty, and the staff seemed not to care. The “breakfast” was just fruit and stale bread with butter. The pictures look decent, but on arrival it felt like we’d been fooled. This was the worst hotel of our trip, and VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is. With conditions that bad, it should cost half as much.

Everything in the room worked perfectly, and housekeeping came daily with fresh towels and bathroom amenities. The rooms were clean, too. You’re right on the main street with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Noise can be rough until about 10-11 pm, but it’s not too bad. Great location!
