The food and drinks were pretty average, so don't come expecting to be blown away by them. Still, it's a peaceful place where the hosts are ready to help, and you can spend a really nice day swimming and relaxing by the pool under a palapa if you buy food or drinks. You don't need to book a room for that. It also offers a traditional stay.

It’s a lovely oasis tucked behind the hotel on the main road to Chichen Itza, and it looks like they’ve put a lot of money into making it nice. The hosts were friendly too. Chichen is only about a 20-25 minute drive away.

The pepperoni pizza is huge, just so you know! The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, and the service was impeccable. It's an unpretentious restaurant with an incredibly friendly welcome, and it really feels like you're in Mexico.
