I paid 32 American when I went. The hotel is in a more local part of la paz, so it might not suit you if you plan to walk everywhere. I was on a motorcycle and appreciated the gated, safe parking. The place is inexpensive, with a living room and full kitchen inside. It has AC but no heating, and you can hear quite a bit from the busy neighborhood. I'd definitely stay again.

With a living room, a good-sized sofa bed for up to two, a table for four, and a fully stocked kitchen, each room feels more like a home than a hotel. There's even a utility area with a laundry sink, which makes it comfortable for a longer stay. The bedroom is a decent size and has a TV with SKY and lots of channels. It's peaceful and quiet, and there's parking on site. It costs $800 a night or $8000 a month, which is quite affordable. There aren't many places to eat nearby, but Oxxo is a five-minute walk away and Chedraui supermarket is about 15 minutes on foot. The Wi-Fi is poor.
