We felt looked after from the welcome drinks when we arrived at Casa 1880 through the checkout. The service team took care of our needs and requests, and housekeeping kept the well-appointed Hemingway room in great shape. It was comfortable too. We enjoyed the pool as a spot to relax, and all the food and drinks were delicious. We couldn't have been happier, and we'd definitely stay at Casa 1880 again if we return to La Paz.

The decor and food venue were just right, and not having TVs in the rooms was a plus. My husband was disappointed before check-in that the hotel wasn't near the bay, but changed his mind as soon as we walked in and were greeted with drinks and wonderful service. The setting was perfect for relaxing and resetting, and the staff were even better than the already amazing hotel. We'll definitely return.

People here are incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, and the food is dynamite. The hotel is a historic landmark that still feels elegant and elevated. Famous explorers and authors used to gather here to smoke cigars and swap stories, including Cousteau, Hemingway, and Steinbeck. We love this place!

Such a lovely, peaceful place, with phenomenal service. The staff went above and beyond, and Miguel was especially kind. Shout out to him, he's a great guy. I'll definitely be back next year.

The property is gorgeous, the food is amazing, and the location is ideal for exploring on foot. What really stands out is how the staff treat you like an old friend or family, rather than a client. Casa 1880 is a gem, and I can't wait to come back.
