The place is quaint and beautifully decorated, but I wouldn’t stay there again. We arrived at check-in time and were told our room wasn’t ready, so we went swimming at the beach. When we came back, they gave us a different room from the ocean-view one I’d booked and said our room had been given to someone else. We tried to be flexible and asked for a refund of the price difference if they could move us later. The front desk person was very sweet but overwhelmed, and told me to contact the owner. I did, but never heard back. There was also a rooftop party around midnight. It was Saturday in La Paz, so the party itself was understandable, but the chairs scraping across the floor sounded like an earthquake. We couldn’t sleep until the party ended at 3 am. The front desk could have warned us, but it felt like information was being withheld in a sneaky way. The lack of honesty is why I wouldn’t return. Fingers crossed I don’t get home to find my credit card hacked.....

We stayed in the Salvaje room at the main property, the one with the pool. Everything felt calm, clean, and pretty, with a simple style. Carlos was especially helpful, the warm pool was lovely, and the rooftop was a perfect place for coffee in the morning.

The beds were comfortable, the AC was great, and everything was quiet and clean. After a long day, we liked being able to relax by the pool. There are good places to eat within walking distance, and the Malecón is nearby too. Isabel and her crew were wonderful. They handle all communication through WhatsApp, so send them your arrival time ahead of time and they can have everything ready. Thanks again!

The design at casa Bo is incredible, and the photos really don’t show how lovely the place is. We stayed in the Ba suite, which had a private hot tub, and found it peaceful and relaxing after a long travel day. The room was spacious and cool, and the pool area was lovely. Staff were attentive and gave us helpful recommendations. It’s only a block from the Malecón. We’d love to return and try another suite.

The bed was comfortable, which is the only reason I’m giving this one star instead of one. The bathroom was a mess. Every shower soaked the whole room, and there was nowhere to put clothes from a suitcase. A glass wall was installed badly and nearly fell on my daughter. For the price, the place was completely lacking. I wouldn’t recommend it or go back.
