We’d only stopped by to look around, but Pavel welcomed us like old friends, so we ended up staying our last night in La Paz at the Peace Center. We got a room with AC, which was exactly what we wanted during the hottest days of the year. Pavel and his family are incredibly kind and hospitable. He helped us find two bike boxes, which cyclists know can take ages to source and collect. The next afternoon we also used his taxi service, which made the stay even more convenient. We loved the place and wish we’d booked earlier. Pavel, thanks for your kindness. It was such a joy meeting you and staying at the Peace Center! Best, Ryan Cape Town, South Africa

There’s a full kitchen, toilets, and showers, with plenty of hot water, though guests are asked to conserve it. The property is close to everything, with the bike path right outside, so it’s an easy trip to the malecón and nightlife. It was fun chatting with other nomads and hearing their travel stories. Small hostel with rooms and space for a few rigs. Staff were helpful with finding attractions, and it’s dog friendly. If you bring a rig, backing in helps keep morning sun off the windshield. Otherwise, it’ll bake you.

The hosts are some of the nicest people you’ll meet, and there’s room for 10 or more vehicles. Hot showers, a huge pallapa, and a kitchen for meals. The Air BnBs are clean, spacious, and quite nice. Short or long stay, this is where you want to be. Easily the best place in town, don’t miss the opportunity.

The communal space is so comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could need, plus more. My husband and I stayed two nights in our van with our dog and loved it. Anna and Pavel are gracious hosts who made sure we felt welcome and looked after. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting or passing through La Paz.

We were traveling by bike and camped in a tent on the grounds for a night. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the facilities were good, including showers, bathrooms, kitchen, and wifi, and the price was reasonable. It was the perfect La Paz stay for us, and should work well for anyone in a van or on a bike. I really can’t find anything bad to say. The negative Google reviews have me confused!
