The rooms are immaculate, and the staff are super friendly. The ocean views are stunning. I often stop by for drinks at the bar.

The exterior is appealing and the location gives you a good look over the ocean, but the stay needs a lot of improvement. We came for an anniversary getaway, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower head only shot a half inch jet, with water spraying everywhere from the back of it. There was nobody at the front desk or anywhere else to help, at any time. I tried calling and going to the desk a few times, but there was no one there. WiFi was dismal, constantly cutting in and out and very slow, with no connection in our room. The restaurant was closed, so there was no breakfast or food like everyone had reviewed. Dogs barked a lot in the morning and woke us up. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. I'd give it less than a 3 star review, except the outside was pleasant and the ocean view location was good.

The rooms are close to the road, so it was a little noisy. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

We only ate there one afternoon after driving up from San Jose Del Cabo, and I fell in love with the place. The meal was wonderful, and they let us tour the rooms. They were very very clean, nice, and new. We've vacationed in San Jose for 12 years at a very nice resort, but I'd love to spend our week here. It's quiet, pieceful, and not over crowded with tourist. The people running the place were very nice. I hope they survive 2020.
