I booked through Expedia but couldn't travel because of health issues. I tried contacting the hotel to cancel, then asked Expedia to reach out too. After several attempts they finally spoke with someone, but my refund was denied. When I called myself to explain, Jorge first said there was no reservation under that name. I pointed out that I'd been charged, and he quickly found it and said it was nonrefundable. He kept repeating that when I explained why we couldn't go, then hung up. I called again and asked why he'd ended the call. He said he thought I was done, even though he knew I wasn't. When I asked for his manager, he wanted to know what it was about. I said I just wanted to speak with the manager, and he hung up again. After I called back, it seemed he had blocked my number because the call rang once and failed. I tried another extension, but whenever they attempted to transfer me, the call was dropped. Jorge was very rude and condescending, and I've still been unable to reach a manager. I've also been asking someone to call me back, but nobody has. I want to speak directly with someone about how this employee treated me. Is hanging up on customers considered acceptable?

The staff were great, and breakfast was very good, better than I expected for Mexico. I'd gladly stay again. My room service order was less consistent, though. I got the corte Vacio two nights running, and it arrived differently each time, first on a board with a metal heating base, then on a plastic tray. Both times the meat was only warm and the baked potato was cold. The metal base hadn't been heated. The onions on the second night were still pretty raw, and there was no salsa. I did eat it, and the meat itself was a good cut.

I keep choosing this hotel when I'm in town. The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are excellent. The bell hop always welcomes me, the front desk gets me checked in and makes sure I have what I need, and maintenance has the room ready for my arrival.

It's really handy for getting around, just a few steps from the poliforum and stadium. The front desk is always friendly and quick to help. Food was the weak spot. The buffet breakfast costs about 10 usd and isn't great. They really need a good chef.

Good for the price, but our room wasn't ready when we went to check in. They also used the parking garage for a game event, so when we left before those times, we were locked out, just like that. The cable wasn't HD, and cleaning came into the room without permission. There was a door tag for requesting cleaning, and we hadn't put it out.
