The hotel's older and could use a renovation. Great location and friendly staff, but the AC was old and super noisy.

I had a beautiful view from my room. I booked through the website and used a credit or debit card, but at check-in they unexpectedly made me pay cash. The same card worked without any issue at the restaurant, where the servers gave good service and the breakfast buffet had a good selection.

I was on the 19th floor during a 5.7 earthquake and didn't feel a thing. Great view toward the volcano, and I'll definitely stay here again.

The price has been very reasonable each time, especially compared with places where I paid more for worse rooms and service. I've stayed here many times, and the rooms are nicely kept with good views. A fridge and microwave would be useful, but the breakfast buffet has lots to choose from, and room service is quick with excellent food. Everyone from the front desk and concierge to the restaurant staff is helpful, and many speak English. It's been excellent every visit.
