We stayed for two weeks in January 2026. The hotel looks appealing at first, and it's fairly clean, with floors mopped often. The location is good for getting to the downtown action, about four blocks away. There's no elevator, so ask for a first or second floor room if stairs are a problem. Communication with the office staff was very difficult. They know little English, and Google Translate wasn't useful with the slow internet, so we ended up typing things out in Spanish or English. I think better management could improve the experience quite a bit. The internet was often very slow or unavailable, which made watching movies or sports on the TV impossible in the evenings. In room 111, there was very little counter space. The kitchen faucet doesn't swivel, and the bathroom faucet isn't bolted down. The fridge made a strange space-like sound. Maid service is every three days, but you have to be there to let them in because they don't have another room key. There were only six hangers and not much room to hang clothes, no hair dryer, and the furniture was two steel kitchen chairs, one bedside chair, and two steel chairs outside, with no couch or soft chair. You have to ask for basics like soap, towels, a dishcloth, dish soap, an extra roll of toilet paper, and even shampoo. There's no hot water at either the kitchen or bathroom faucet. The shower is the only place with hot water, and it has strong, lovely pressure.

The room felt unsafe, with a gas smell throughout. The TV and shower head were broken, and the front desk staff were rude and unwilling to help. I asked for a first floor room because of my disability but was put in the last room on the top floor. I called Aisle Bnb, and after they contacted the owner, he called me and yelled for ten minutes until I hung up. A horrible experience. I won't return.

The beach is a five minute walk away, with lovely shops along the way. This felt like the most modern and safe option in the quaint little town, and we'd only stay here in the future. The hotel is beautiful, new, modern, and clean. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome throughout; the host even checked in with us every day to ask how things were going. Ten stars!

We had a spacious, very clean first floor suite. The bathroom was one of the nicest I've seen on this trip, and there was good hot water, no complaints. Check-in was quick and efficient.

I've stayed here twice, and both visits were very pleasant. The people are amazing, friendly, and helpful with directions or suggestions. Most staff speak little or no English, but they still find a way to communicate and help. You might see a bug or two in the room sometimes, but there's lots of wildlife and beautiful nature here. If bugs aren't for you, Mexico probably isn't either. I'd come back again. The only downside is that you can hear a pesky, loud rooster in the morning.
