The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. I spent a week in the courtyard section and had a comfortable stay, with a clean room and the basic amenities. It's also pet friendly, which can be hard to find while traveling with pets in Mexico. There are two parking areas surrounded by rooms, so your vehicle sits enclosed right outside your room, with staff and security there around the clock. The hotel is centrally located near the botanical garden and shopping. I'd call it a three-star property as it stands, though updated furnishings and in-room amenities could bring it to four. Great value and service, and I'd recommend it.

The night staff were delightful, and the parking felt secure. Beyond that, the property was poor. Our room had no hot water, the walls and adjoining doors were thin, the cleaning staff missed details, some furniture was broken, and the morning staff weren't helpful.

We had a great stay, and the food was delicious. Everyone was welcoming and so friendly, and the whole place felt lovely. Great service, too!

The pool was nice, and parking was secure. It's on a busy main street, but the rooms sit behind it.

Some bedrooms didn't have Wi-Fi, and there was no hot water in the mornings. Owen’s steak house also needs a chef who can cook a steak.
