Casa Akbal

It's a nice spot for retreats, but the food portions were so small that I was still hungry.

The rooms were fine, though I'd suggest adding mosquito nets to the balconies and improving the bathroom amenities, both their quality and how many are provided. What a nice surprise to open the gate and find a spacious, well-kept garden in a style typical of the area. The service was very friendly, the price seemed fair, and the included breakfast was delicious and very homemade.

I liked how well kept the green spaces were, and the hotel was quiet and clean during my weekday visit. The windows and balconies offer nice views, and it's pleasant to spend time by the pool. There's a two-night package with breakfast, but it only applies on weekends. One odd thing is that outside food and drinks aren't allowed, while the hotel itself doesn't serve food or drinks. The center isn't very close, though you can walk there along the same street. The place is tidy, comfortable, and pleasant.

It's a lovely place to fully unwind, as always, and the pool was very clean.
