I wouldn't recommend these cabins because of how the deposit was handled. The owner asked for a $3,000 deposit as protection against damage, and we were ready to pay the $500 charge stated in the contract after one of my companions accidentally broke a plate. But only $2,000 was returned, so $1,000 was deducted for the plate, more than the contract allows. We suggested several ways to settle it, but couldn't reach an agreement. There was also an issue with the jacuzzi water, and nobody had told us in advance it could cause a problem or extra charge. I found the deduction unjustified and the process unclear.

The cabin matched its photos and description, and Roberto and his family were very kind. It was beautiful and cozy, with a good sense of privacy and quiet even though other cabins are nearby. It's close to town, but the road isn't very walkable, so I'd suggest coming by car or renting an ATV. I highly recommend it.

A little stream runs beside the chalet, and the setting is so peaceful and beautiful. We loved the cozy jacuzzi, the comfortable bed, and having firewood for a campfire. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

There were seven of us in the family, and the cabin was comfortable for all of us. We had a wonderful time, especially enjoying the jacuzzi. Roberto was always available when we needed something, and his service was excellent. I came from Merida, Yucatan, after the place was highly recommended to me. Thanks so much to Roberto and his family.

The owner was kind and always ready to answer our questions. The place was very clean and comfortable, with internet, hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen. It's also close to town.
