Soho Apartments

The room comes with the basics for a stay, including air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, an oven, cutlery, and a refrigerator. The area is safe and quiet, with parking outside. You're two blocks from the boardwalk, and there are banks and an Oxxo convenience store nearby. There isn't an attendant or concierge to deal with problems in your room. The manager sends entry codes. The pool is small and has warm water, but its aluminum steps feel unstable. The elevator isn't working, though the building is only three floors.

The place looks new and "nice," but the construction seems cheap and rushed, and there were several problems during our stay. The shower had mold, and water rose to my ankles while I was washing. There was no shelf for shampoo or soap, and leaving them on the floor wasn't an option. The lights kept flickering, which made it a bad fit for me since I get migraines and vertigo. By the pool there were no umbrellas for shade, and the entry stairs were in terrible, dangerous shape. They were attached to a temporary structure that was already rusty and corroded, and looked close to breaking. There's no reception desk to help, and the assigned phone number was no help with our problems. We reported the issues and asked to move rooms. They said the place was full and they'd send maintenance, but nobody came. I don't believe it was full: only two other rooms were occupied and the rest of the place was empty. I think all the rooms are in the same condition, so there was no way to move us to another loft. Parking is outside and unprotected. We had to extend our stay for work, and ended up finding somewhere else to stay.
