I spent a long weekend at Door 54. The rooms are spacious compared with a typical hotel, and the property is new. It took about 20 minutes to get to the airport. The location is handy too: on Paseo Montejo, with MANY restaurants nearby, plus bars, a Santander bank, and even an ice cream shop just a block away. They also offer a gourmet menu if you request it in advance.

Door54 Guest Suites is ideally placed in Merida, right by the hotel zone and just steps from Paseo de Montejo, its restaurants and shops. Merida's historic center and one of its best medical facilities are also a short walk away. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are incredible, and I think the beds are the best I've ever slept in. There's a great pool and lounge area, too. Ask the Door54 host anything, and they'll share Merida's secrets. I'll recommend it and stay again.
