The internet worked fine, the staff were friendly, and the bathroom seemed a little larger than some other reviews suggested. But we had a rough stay. There were bedbug bites from the first night, despite complaints about this going back months. The rooms also have almost no sound insulation: we could hear everything from the room across the way, along with corridor footsteps and doors closing. We slept badly all three nights. Rooms 204, 206, and 208 have an interior window that looks into neighboring rooms when open, so we kept it shut. The bathroom window had to stay closed too, leaving the room very dark with just one light and no bedside lamps. For a place listed as a boutique hotel, there's a lot to be desired.

The staff were kind and accommodating, and I appreciated the free bottled water and refill station. Still, I left disappointed, especially after choosing it for its high Booking.com rating. My room had several uncomfortable details. The bathroom looked dated, and the toilet was only about 20 cm from the wall, making it awkward to use. There was no soap or shampoo dispenser in the shower, and the toiletries provided were poor quality. The air conditioner blew straight onto the bed, so getting a comfortable temperature for sleeping felt difficult without risking getting sick. The location wasn't especially appealing either.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. In the first room, I found dead bugs on the walls and an unclean bathroom. After I asked to move, the second room had a strong smell like feces. The third room had bed bugs, and I ended up with itchy bites. These conditions caused a lot of distress and felt like a serious health concern. Stay away.
