Hospedaje Casa Lool Beh Merida

Jose and Ananda were excellent, friendly hosts who suggested places to visit and restaurants to try. The room was clean, the bed was big, and the AC worked fine. Guests can use the kitchen facilities too. It’s a great hostel in a central location, highly recommended.

It felt more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying at a hotel, a little oasis in the city. Our private room was like a small apartment away from the main house, with lots of space, very comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning. The pool was nice, and the outside area was calm and quiet, with lots of birds. Kitchen facilities were excellent, with free coffee and water as well as cooking equipment. We had an amazing stay!

The rooms are clean and practical, and that morning coffee is a lovely way to get going 😉. We especially enjoyed unwinding by the pool in the snug garden after our day trips. Ananda and José made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived, and the city was an easy walk away. We had such a good time here and would absolutely come back.

We were worn out after long days, so the noise from cars and motorcycles by the upstairs balcony room didn't bother us much, especially with earplugs. If you're a light sleeper, though, I'd ask for a room without a balcony. The house has lovely design and a great patio, and the host made us feel at home. It's also just a few minutes from the city center, restaurants, and bars.
