Vita Love Hotel

Getting into the place can be awkward if you’re coming from Mérida toward Motul. It sits right on the highway, across the road, and crossing is difficult. This was my second stay, and the prices are quite reasonable. The place was clean, but there were small things that bothered me. My room had a double bed instead of the king I’d had before, and it was already sagging, possibly because the mattress was poor quality. The bedside lamps had been stolen, so they didn’t work. Since the rooms are upstairs on the second floor, I had to go downstairs to pay. They could make this one of the best motels if they paid closer attention to those details.

The rooms look nice, but there's always something wrong, even when you switch rooms. Once there was an iguana in the jacuzzi, the TV was out, and SKY satellite service wasn't working. The phone and TV don't work either. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

It’s a basic, ordinary motel, but it’s very run-down and poorly maintained. Privacy is limited, though it’s much cheaper than other options. Kind of a cheap motel dressed up to look fancy.

It’s a small place, and there are a few things they could improve, but the prices are reasonable enough that I can overlook those. The concept is different and sexy, and it’s far enough from Mérida to give you privacy. Give it a try. I don’t think you’ll regret it.
