The private garage attached to each room was a huge relief on our motorcycle tour. We didn't need to worry about the bikes being vandalized or stolen from the street or an unsecured lot, and we could leave our things on them instead of unloading everything. We could just walk out of our room into the garage whenever we needed something. What a convenience. Motel Marche was an unexpected find after we had to spend a night in Mexicali on the way to San Felipe. It was a last-minute booking, and we felt like we'd struck gold. The room service menu was extensive, with food, drinks, desserts, coffee, and other items the hotel seems to specialize in. That seemed to show in some of the room's furniture and decor, which we hadn't realized when booking but didn't mind. The rain shower was incredible, and the little sitting room was a nice touch. We'd recommend it and stay again, especially on future motorcycle trips.

The staff were welcoming and nice, and a few spoke English. Rooms were clean and nicely designed, and the food was very good. The location near the border was convenient, and room rates were pretty standard. It was a pleasant stay.

Everything seemed fine until checkout, when I was told there was a burnt hole in the comforter. I didn't make it, but had to pay another 1500 pesos to keep the authorities from getting involved. I felt bullied and robbed, and I'll never go back.

The staff are friendly and nice, and I like having a garage with a private entrance to the room. That was especially helpful while I was recovering from a dental procedure. It's worth staying here if you're paying in US dollars.

A good place if you don't want to be found. The room was great and clean.
