The care from the team came through in every interaction. They were polished and personal, attentive without hovering, and clearly cared about the hotel and its guests. Colima 71 Hotel feels like a tucked-away retreat in the heart of Roma Norte, even with Mexico City’s energy all around. Step inside from the sophisticated, busy street and you find a calm, intimate space full of art. The rooms are spacious and beautiful, each one thoughtfully put together with warmth and character alongside a refined modern look. The attention to detail throughout is exceptional. It’s a rare little find that feels almost like a private discovery, the sort of place you’re tempted to keep to yourself.

The spacious rooms are quiet, and the bed is top tier. You can feel how much care went into the small details, and all of them add up to something special. Colima 71 is beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a perfect location for exploring on foot. We’ve walked everywhere, and the neighborhood couldn’t be better. The service is what really sets the hotel apart: every team member is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about the guest experience. One of the best boutique hotel stays I’ve had in a long time.

Breakfast each morning was fresh and beautifully presented, and it was a joy to have. The staff were thoughtful, warm, and attentive without getting in the way. We spent four nights at Colima 71, and it was easily the highlight of our time in Mexico City. From the soft scent of palo santo at the entrance to the last details in the room, the place made it easy to relax. The design is remarkable: pink marble, handmade ceramics, birds of paradise in clay vessels, and art throughout the shared spaces. Our room had exposed wood-beam ceilings, a very comfortable bed with wonderfully soft linens, and a private terrace with geometric ironwork framing the Roma Norte rooftops like a painting. The architecture, atmosphere, people, and little sensory touches all come together beautifully. We’ll absolutely be back.

The concierge team was fantastic, quick to arrange restaurant reservations and transportation. They also gave us great suggestions for places to eat, areas to visit, and ways to get around. For our anniversary, they decorated the room in a really sweet, thoughtful way. The breakfasts were delicious and one of my favorite parts of the stay. Each day, we came back to a room that had been promptly cleaned and was spotless. From check-in, the staff made it clear they cared about making my stay comfortable and personal. The service, quality, and friendliness made every penny feel worth it, many times over.
