Chicago Suites WTC

At check-in, we were taken to a different address from the one in our booking. The building there was old and poorly maintained, and the kitchen and bathroom were shared. I’d booked a private suite for my husband and me, with our own bathroom and kitchen, on June 29th. They made no real effort to provide what had been promised. This was the worst experience of my life, and I’m very upset and angry. The staff were terrible and dishonest. I don’t think anyone should book here.

Could you tell me which room I’d need to rent to use the pool and gym? Thanks.

This is a damn Airbnb, not a hotel, and the units aren’t suites either. You share with other guests, and the building hasn’t approved it. There’s a sign at the entrance banning Airbnbs, and the guards don’t greet you or let you in unless you’re registered as a resident. The keypad didn’t work. The bed is two mattresses on one frame, the toilet has no seat or lid, and there’s no AC, only a fan. They watch you closely and won’t let you use the facilities. Don’t come here.
