Exe Suites San Marino Hotel

Several things made the room uncomfortable and left me very disappointed. There was a noticeable gap under the door, so I felt unsafe and could hear hallway noise. Parts of the floor were broken and damaged, which was unpleasant and could be unsafe. The coffee machine's water tank had visible mold, and the bathroom still had dirt and stains. I hope management fixes these maintenance and cleaning problems soon, because they seriously affected my stay.

This isn't anything like the website suggests, and I'd call it more like three stars than five. Still, the staff were welcoming, the room was cleaned well, and ours was spacious, with a fridge and kitchenette but no kettle. The shower was a reasonable size and had hot water. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning seemed to run, but it didn't cool the room, more like a fan; luckily it wasn't too hot while we were there. The location is why I rated it highly: food places, groceries, and bars are nearby, and we could see Angel of Independence from the room. We're on the 11th floor, so the busy road below didn't bother us, and the nearest metro is a 10-minute walk. If you need a convenient place with the basics while visiting the city, this could work.

I booked four nights and left the next day. The rooms looked nothing like the online photos: dingy, without AC, with lots of broken things, hard beds, and noise coming in from outside. My skin was crawling in there, and the staff didn't seem to care. When I raised the mismatch with the listing, they just asked if I wanted to cancel. Listen to the other bad reviews, this felt like a two-star hotel. I moved to Hotel Century Reforma, about a five-minute drive away in a much more convenient area. The rooms there were perfect, the staff were nice, and I was much more comfortable. Do not stay here.

The location and staff service are great, but prices feel a bit high. The hotel is old and needs repairs and a deep clean.
