The location in Roma Norte was a real highlight, with great cafes and restaurants nearby and a lively area outside that still felt peaceful inside. Our terrace room was a lovely surprise upgrade, beautifully put together in a modern, upscale style, and spotless. The food was delicious too. What made the stay especially memorable was how cared for we felt. Adrian went above and beyond throughout the visit. When one of our travel partners wasn't feeling well, the staff were kind, attentive, and made sure she was comfortable. Casa Izel exceeded what we expected, balancing luxury, comfort, and warmth so well. We'll absolutely be back and recommend it to everyone we know.

Casa Izel was a genuinely luxe stay, and I want to share current details because a few reviews I'd seen while booking had me worried. I was in the basic king room, while my friends had a king with a balcony. Both were off the main spiral stairs, smelled wonderful, and came with robes, slippers, and nightly turndown service with chocolates. There was air conditioning too. My friends' one gripe was that their bathroom had no door. We appreciated the complimentary filtered water in the rooms, with more available if requested. Breakfast was included each day on the sunny rooftop, with amazing views over Mexico City. You could choose coffee plus green juice or fresh fruit, along with any breakfast menu item. We all loved it, especially the chilaquiles and poblano omelette. Noise never bothered us. The air conditioning made enough white noise, even for me in a first-floor room above the bar. Everyone at Casa Izel was kind, generous, friendly, and professional. Staff we met, from the front desk and management to the rooftop restaurant, spoke English. They were also patient while we tried speaking Spanish, and it felt like we made friends all around the hotel. The location was spectacular, and the amenities made it feel like a truly luxurious getaway. I'll absolutely return.

The service was the part that stood out most. I got sick during our trip and was bedridden for a few days while I recovered. The staff sent tea and offered to make chicken soup, which made me feel really cared for. My husband and I spent five nights at casa izel, and its location near bars, restaurants, shops, and parks was wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, and breakfast on the rooftop was such a treat. We'll definitely come back to CDMX.

Adrian was so friendly and helpful, sorting out excursion plans and dinner reservations and making us feel welcome. Everyone who works at Casa Izel was lovely. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and bedding, and it was quiet. The rooftop restaurant was a lovely place to have breakfast each morning. A sweet, peaceful, comfortable spot in Roma Norte.

The layout has one quirk: there's no door between the bathroom and living space, though they're around a corner from each other. Aside from that, I found the rooms stylish and practical, with timely, discreet cleaning and turndown service. The whole hotel was clean and very pleasing to look at. The location felt safe, and I could walk to many great parks and restaurants. Service was stupendous, with friendly staff throughout. I had a marvelous five-night stay at Casa Izel and would gladly return the next time I'm in Mexico City.
