Hotel Milan

Clean rooms, really friendly staff and great service, all in a fantastic location for the price. There was no air conditioning, but I’d still come back.

You can easily get around from this hotel, and its location is the best thing about it. The rest left me disappointed. The building feels dated, and the rooms need renovation. None have air conditioning, which made the stay uncomfortable in warm weather, and the Wi-Fi was so unreliable that staying connected was difficult. Breakfast was only coffee, juice and a little fruit, which was a letdown. The location is excellent, but the hotel falls short on comfort and amenities. Some needed updates could make the stay much better.

The room was clean and well kept, and the price, service and location were all good. I paid about 58 USD per night for a 10-night stay. Just be aware the Wi-Fi didn’t work on the 5th floor. Even on the first, it wasn’t usable for work like Zoom, videos or keeping a steady connection. There are plenty of cafes nearby with internet. The hotel was normal in terms of noise, but the area itself wasn’t particularly quiet, with a school next door and some construction nearby.

The location was nice, but terrible Wi-Fi in 2026 is a real disappointment. In the restaurant it worked fine, but in the room pages timed out without loading. Speeds were around 1.4 mbps down and 0.6 mbps up. The included breakfast was just coffee or tea, orange juice, yogurt and a few tiny fruit slices. One morning there wasn’t even yogurt. This pitiful breakfast isn’t free either. It costs 1 cent. We had a double queen room for three people, but staff kept leaving only two towels. They were quick to bring extras when I asked, and also reset the router on request, though I shouldn’t have had to ask. The bathroom has no vent and gets extremely wet and slippery, especially because the shower is open on one side and water spills out. The soap does smell really good. The hallway was dark and dingy at night. The room has a poor layout, with a narrow path to the bathroom and furniture that’s hard to move. Doors slammed constantly, and you could hear through the wall when the closet door was open. The keycard never worked on the first try. This is not worth the price.
