Warning to international travelers! They confirmed a week-long stay and took full payment, then after my second night told me to leave because they were overbooked. A Booking.com customer service agent told me they were running a scam and had no reason to do this. I was put out on the street during the World Cup and got no refund. They also took my ID at check-in and never returned it. Don’t stay here. I’ll upload a copy of the police report I wrote to confirm what happened.

Getting around the building is like climbing through a maze. It’s laid out very strangely. The rooms themselves were fine, but the facilities weren’t looked after. Our doorknob broke and trapped us inside. I called, and a staff member came to check, but he never returned to help. After an hour, we had to force the door open and break the wood to get out. The bathroom had no toilet paper or lightbulb, so it was pitch black at night, and the other toilet was out of service. That left one toilet and one shower for many people. Do yourself a favor and stay at the condesa location. 10x better.

It smells and feels disgusting here, and the staff barely pay attention. They have bed bugs. After one night, I woke up with bites on both arms and legs.

Online photos make this place look extremely nice, but the room was cramped with double beds and felt extremely nasty. It also seemed dangerous because there were no guard rails on the bed.
